Delano Community Connection

There are a lot of reasons to visit Delano: the Victorian architecture, the trendy little specialty shops...
... and then, there's:
Public Art - The McLean Fountain, the Longhorn and the Keeper of the Plains.
Museums on the River - from Exploration Place and the Indian Center to Cowtown and Botanica.
Sports - Take in a baseball game at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium or get into one of your own at the West Side Athletic Field.
Recreation - Spend some time at the Wichita Ice Center or at one of the game rooms.
Delano's renaissance over the past 15 years is the result of community action at work.
The Delano Neighborhood Revitalization Plan would never have been adopted by the City if not for the work of the Clergy, Neighborhood and Business Associations.
