Historic Delano was founded in 2007 to put on a St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Since then, we have organized or assisted with dozens of events bringing thousands of people to Delano.

2007

St. Patrick's Day Parade

	In 2007, Saint Patrick's Day fell on a Saturday. In January a plan was hatched to do a parade. In just 6 weeks a successful event was held which attracted over 6,000 people to Delano! Today, the St. Patrick's Parade is one of the city's most popular parades and is held as an example for how parades should be managed. Erin Go Bragh!
