Welcome to Historic Delano

The Delano Garden

Established in 2007, the Delano Community garden is an "Allotment Garden" which provides space for urban gardeners who have no space of their own.

Plots are assigned and each gardener pays a fee to help pay for the water.

A Garden Fence

Every garden needs a fence, but we don't want just any fence... we want an Art Fence!

Last year we installed fence posts along the north & east sides of the garden. This spring we built frames between them and filled the frames with found and recycled objects.

To see pictures & information on a project like this in Austin, visit the following web site:

Want to Help?

There are still 3 or 4 frames that need filled in. If you would like to do a panel, contact us.
